The body of a Bangladeshi worker killed in a landslide in Malaysia has been found following a two-day search, with a tracker dog helping rescuers locate him beneath a mound of earth.
The victim was identified as 27-year-old Md Fahad Hossain, the New Straits Times reported, citing Malaysian police.
Authorities did not immediately release further details about him.
The landslide struck a vegetable farm in the Lojing Highlands in Malaysia's Kelantan state on Friday, leaving Fahad missing.
His body was located around noon on Sunday by Frankie, a tracker dog from the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department's K-9 unit, according to Gua Musang police chief Superintendent Sik Choon Foo.
Rescue personnel subsequently recovered the body from beneath the earth.
The second day of the search had begun earlier on Sunday, involving 20 firefighters, three tracker dogs and an excavator.
