BNP leader ASM Hannan Shah in critical condition at CMH

BNP Standing Committee Member ASM Hannan Shah has been admitted to Dhaka's Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in critical condition.

He was taken to the CMH on Tuesday morning after his condition worsened, said Momtaz Uddin Ahmed, assistant personal secretary to Shah.

"Sir (Hannan)  was taken to the CMH at 9:45am. He is currently admitted at the Intensive Care Unit," he told bdnews24.com.

The 77-year-old former army officer was feeling unwell for the last few days.

ASM Hannan Shah was a Cabinet member in the BNP's government from 1991.
