BNS Sangram and BNS Prottyasha docked the Chattogram Naval Jetty on Saturday, the navy said in a statement.
They have a maximum speed of 25 knots and are both 90 meters long and 11 meters across the beam.
The warships have deck landing and takeoff facilities for helicopters. They are equipped with modern artillery guns, including ground-to-air and ground-to-ground missiles, advanced 3D radar, fire control system and radar jamming system.
The ships can be deployed for a long time in the deep sea and will help ensure greater security for Bangladesh’s maritime resources.
Bangladesh Navy and China's Ship Building and Offshore International Company Limited signed an agreement on building the two warships on Sept 29, 2015.
The construction of the warships started on Aug 9, 2016 and the distributing company handed them over to the Bangladesh Navy on Mar 28 this year.
The ships started for Chattogram port from China’s Yantian port on Apr 12.
