Eight people, including four of a family, have died after a truck hit a three-wheeler passenger vehicle in Mymensingh Sadar.

The crash took place around 12pm on the Mymensingh-Netrokona Highway near the divisional city, said Kotowali police OC Kamrul Islam.
Police identified six of the deceased as Saidul, 35, Ashraful, 28, Tajul Fakir, 35, Tajul’s wife Shirin Akter, 30, and their children Tahsin, 5, and Tawhid, 3.
The identities of the other two were not immediately known.
The police officer said Tajul hailed from Purbodhola Upazila of Netrokna.
