Dhaka, Jul 21 (BDNEWS) – Condition of Bangladesh's High Commissioner to Malaysia Shafi U Ahmed, who was wounded along with his son and car driver in a road accident in Kuala Lumpur Wednesday night, is improving.
"His condition remains stable despite he received several fractures in his right legs and head," a Foreign Ministry official told journalists Thursday.
The accident took place Wednesday night when two sport cars from the opposite lost control and collided head-on with the HC's car leaving his son Shabab and driver Mokshed Ali injured.
The HC was operated upon in his leg at the Gleneagles Hospital in Kuala Lumpur.
"All they are safe now and the High Commissioner is out of danger," Seheli Shafi, the wife of the HC told BDNEWS by phone.
