Of them, the 43 are from the ruling Awami League, four from Jatiya Party, and one each from Workers Party and Independent.
In the 350-seat parliament, 50 are reserved exclusively for women and the remaining 300 are contested in a direct election.
The reserved seats are allocated to political parties in proportion to their number of seats in parliament.
No-one withdrew their candidature within the Saturday deadline.
Since there was no aspirant in addition to the 49 who had filed nomination papers, they were elected unopposed, Election Commission Joint Secretary Abul Kashem told bdnews24.com.
As per law, they will be officially declared elected on Sunday when the names and addresses of the elected members will be presented in the commission for the gazette publication, he said.
The female MPs-elect are required by law to take oath within three days from the gazette.
Mar 4 was set as the date for elections to the reserved seats, but the limited number of nominees meant there was no need for a ballot.
Though the BNP could have got one seat, in accordance with the rules for allocation, it has been left unfilled because it is still unclear whether the party’s MPs-elect will take their seats in parliament.
