Dhaka, Mar 20 (BDNEWS) – Bangladesh Navy School registered a 56-18 victory over St Jude's School in the opening match of the Shabab Murshid Memorial School Basketball tournament in Dhaka Monday.
Mashud scored 18 and Ahsan scored 12 for the Navy while Faid and Abdur cased four each for St. Judes.
In the second match, Bangladesh International Tutorial (BIT) recorded a 32-29 win over St Joseph after leading the first half 16-13.
Redwan cased 11, and Sayeem and Rowfin scored seven points each for St Joseph. De Costa and Raihan Safi scored nine and six points each for BIT.
The tournament is being organised by South Breeze School and sponsored by Shabab Murshid Foundation.
