Dhaka, July 22 (BDNEWS) – The Chandpur district unit of Jubodal, the youth front of ruling BNP, Saturday announced of freezing off all kinds of relations with the district BNP president and lawmaker of the Chandpur-4 constituency SA Sultan Titu.
The announcement came from a meeting of the town unit of the organisation held at the district BNP office. Shafikur Rahman Bhuiyan, president of the district Jubodal attended the meeting as the chief guest while town Jubodal president Hanif Gazi chaired it.
The meeting decided not to keep any relation with Tito until he clears his views over his recommendation to the party's central high command for withdrawing the expulsion of Aktar Hossain Majhi, organising secretary of the town unit of BNP.
The agitated Jubodal leaders said that Majhi was expelled as he contested the municipal elections held on December 28, 2005 violating the party decision. Bhuiyan was the party-nominated candidate in that election.
