It will be open daily from 12pm to 7pm, except Tuesdays. On Fridays, visiting hours will be from 2pm to 8pm, it added.

The exhibition features a wide array of contemporary artworks, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, and mixed media.

It brings together the works of Abdus Sattar Toufiq, Ah Dhali Tomal, Farzana Rahman Bobby, Joydeb Roaza, Kamruzzaman Sagor, Kamruzzoha, Maharosh Chowdhury, Nazia, Shamshur Rahman Khan, Sk. Mehedi Kamal, Sunil Kumar, Syed Golam Dastgir, Tejosh Halder Josh, and Ziaur Rahman, according to the statement.

The show explores themes such as memory, nature, labour, migration, human resilience, and the intersection of the real and the abstract.

Abdus Sattar Toufiq presents allegorical acrylics reflecting working-class struggles, Farzana Rahman Bobby showcases environmentally conscious mixed-media pieces, and Syed Golam Dastgir experiments with ideas of migration and freedom.

Desh Art Gallery’s curatorial vision is evident in this carefully assembled collection, offering Dhaka’s art enthusiasts an opportunity to experience a spectrum of contemporary creativity in one space.

The statement said the Reminiscence of Light is more than a display of art; it celebrates human imagination, memory, and the pursuit of beauty and meaning.

Visitors are encouraged to explore the exhibition, engage with the artworks, and participate in the dialogue between the tangible and the abstract.
