The centre has been upgraded and remodelled on Korea’s $ 4.8 million grants.
The Korean development arm, KOICA, also provided the technology and equipment for the departments like automobile engine mechanics, refrigeration and air conditioning, machine shop practice, consumer electronics, sewing machine operator and IT support technician.
Its experts helped in developing the curriculum.
The Centre’s senior instructors as well as officials have been trained up in Korea to impart ‘effective’ training in the upgraded system.
