As many as 18,464 or 26.21 percent candidates have cleared the tests, according to the results published on Tuesday, a day after those were postponed following the leak allegations.
Of the successful candidates, 1,615 will finally be enrolled at different departments under the faculties of social sciences, business administration, arts and on some conditions, science.
The results were published following the recommendation by a committee to investigate the leak allegations, M Maksudur Rahman, and assistant proctor and a member of the committee, told bdnews24.com. It submitted its report in the morning.
The results are available on the university’s admission website admission.eis.du.ac.bd.
The candidates can get the results also through mobile phone typing “DU<>GHA<> Roll’ and sending SMS to 16321.
The admission test was taken in 81 centres arranged in and outside the Dhaka University campus last Friday.
Journalists found fourteen images of a handwritten question paper of the unit’s entry test about 31 minutes after the exam had begun.
But it was found that the question paper was on a student’s phone 43 minutes before the test commenced.
The university formed a three-member panel to investigate the alleged leaks of the admission test questions.
On Sunday, law enforcers arrested six people for their alleged involvement in the reported links of questions for the 'Gha' unit admission test at Dhaka University.
