2022: The year in photos

Bangladesh bid farewell to 2022 with several development milestones such as the opening of the Padma Bridge and the country’s first urban rail service in Dhaka. However, the year also marked dark periods in the country’s history with many lives lost in tragic events such as the BM Depot fire in Chattogram and a boat capsize on the Karatoa River due to negligence.
