Dinajpur Kotwali Police Station Sub-inspector Abdur Noor filed the case on Monday evening.

Kotwali police OC SM Khalequzzaman confirmed bdnews24.com of the case being lodged.

The two factions of the ruling Awami League’s student front were locked in the clash to establish dominance on the campus last Thursday.

The case documents say police filed it as families of the victims were not interested in it.

Fifty-sixty unnamed people have been accused in the case.

Proctor ATM Safiqul Islam filed a complaint on Apr 17 over the incident but police did not record it.

OC Khalequzzaman said the complaint was faulty.
