Dhaka, July 8 (bdnews24.com)—Navy official Captain Fazlur Rahman has been made director of the National Security Intelligence.
Fazlur will replace Commodore Abul Kalam Azad, who has been seconded to Mongla Port Authority as chairman, according to an establishment ministry circular issued on Thursday.
Incumbent Mongla Port Authority chairman Commodore M Faruque has been sent back to the armed forces.
Retired secretary ABM Nuruzzaman has been appointed ambassador to Libya on a two-year contract, the circular added.
Deputy secretary Goutam Aich, director of temple-based child and mass education programme, has been withdrawn and placed under the establishment ministry for new posting.
