Public Service Commission expanded to 18 with 3 new members

They will serve until completing five years in office or reaching the age of 65, whichever comes first

The interim government has appointed three new members to the Public Service Commission (PSC).

The appointees are former secretary Md Mohiuddin, who is now on post-retirement leave, Prof Muhammod Shaheen Chowdhury of Chattogram University, and Prof M Amzad Hossain of Rajshahi University.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued separate notifications on Wednesday confirming their appointments.

With the inclusion of the three, the PSC, led by Mobasser Monem, now has 18 members.

According to the appointment order, the new members will remain in office for five years from the date of assumption or until they turn 65, whichever comes earlier.
