According to the news portal, a team from the Saudi Centre for Organ Transplantation had followed up on the woman’s case at King Khaled Hospital in Al-Kharj. They later met with her kin and obtained their consent to donate her organs.

The organ-harvesting operation was conducted in coordination with Dr Iyad Al-Yousif, the attending physician at the centre, and medical coordinator Abdullah Al-Kharji.
The report said, one kidney of the woman was given to a 44-year-old Saudi at a specialist hospital in Riyadh and the other to a 46-year-old Saudi at the Riyadh Military Hospital. The liver was given to a 47-year-old Saudi woman at the specialist hospital.
The lungs were given to a 32-year-old Qatari national also at the same hospital, while the heart valves were taken to King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center for later use.
