The US military said on Tuesday that it had carriedout a strike in the Eastern Pacific that killed one man and left two survivors.
"Following the engagement, US SOUTHCOM immediately notified the US Coast Guard to activate the Search and Rescue system for the survivors. No US military forces were harmed," the USSouthern Command said.
