US President Donald Trump's Truth Social account has become the latest stage for his growing fascination with AI-generated imagery.
From an imagined meeting with former president George Washington to a digitally created attack on Iran's Kharg Island, he used AI to turn political messaging, personal rivalries and displays of American power into surreal online scenes.
One image shows Trump alongside Washington in the Oval Office, presenting an imagined meeting between the two presidents.
The image plays on Trump's repeated portrayal of his presidency as historically significant, according to WION.
New America
Trump also appeared to take his renaming campaign beyond the Gulf of America and Lake America by posting a map that crosses out “Mexico” in New Mexico and replaces it with “America”.
The image labels the state “New America”, turning the familiar US map into a piece of political branding, the Indian outlet said.
The post was striking because it presents an actual US state as though its name could simply be rewritten.
Trump has previously pushed name changes for geographic landmarks, making the image part of what the outlet described as a broader “America First” visual campaign.
A Claim on the Moon
Another AI-generated image appears to claim the Moon for the United States, showing it alongside the declaration: “The Moon Is Ours”.
WION said the picture gives the post a grandiose, space-age quality and fits Trump’s broader emphasis on American power and dominance.
The wording also raises a legal issue, as international space law does not allow nations to claim sovereignty over the Moon, it added.
Trump Is Hulk Hogan
Trump also transformed himself into Hulk Hogan in an AI-generated image, complete with the wrestling icon’s muscular physique and a MAGA-style headband.
The image was particularly notable because Hogan had been a high-profile Trump supporter before his death.
Rather than sharing a photograph or tribute, Trump used AI to place his own face onto Hogan’s body, creating a superhero-style version of himself.
The image reflects a recurring feature of the posting spree, with Trump using artificial intelligence to turn himself into characters, heroes and cultural icons.
‘Bye Bye Kharg’
Trump shared another AI-generated image depicting an attack on Iran’s Kharg Island, showing the strategic oil hub engulfed in destruction.
The image carried a military message amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran.
Kharg Island is a crucial hub for Iranian oil exports.
Trump had previously posted AI-generated imagery showing the island being destroyed, although US officials clarified that his earlier post was intended as a message to Iran rather than an announcement of an actual attack.
A Robot Army
In another post, the president portrayed himself as the commander of an army of giant futuristic robots.
The AI-generated scene shows him surrounded by enormous machines alongside the message: “GIVE THEM NIGHTMARES”.
WION said the image looked more like a scene from a science-fiction film than a presidential social-media post.
It appeared alongside Trump’s increasingly aggressive messaging about Iran and US military power.
Trump-Robert De Niro
Trump opened the posting spree with a digitally altered image of actor Robert De Niro wearing a red T-shirt carrying the words: “Trump Is My President”.
Trump has frequently attacked De Niro, a vocal critic of the president, and used the AI-generated image to suggest that even one of his Hollywood opponents was coming around to his side, as per WION.
The picture turns their long-running political feud into internet-style political propaganda, with Trump using a manipulated celebrity image to reinforce his familiar claim that opposition to him is fading.
