Jiang Xueqin predicts democratic, economic collapse in Western world

He says governments will intentionally start wars to “distract” dissenting citizens

In a recent Facebook video, Prof Jiang Xueqin outlined a political forecast for the Western world, predicting a rapid decline in democratic values and economic stability.

Known for his previous geopolitical predictions, Jiang anticipates a shift toward authoritarianism in the United States and Europe.

He pointed to the increasing use of military force by the US to address domestic and international issues as evidence that freedom is already collapsing.

Jiang argued that as citizens lose their right to dissent, they become less invested in the national system and less motivated to work, eventually triggering a total economic breakdown.

He suggests that rising immigration will lead to internal conflict and street-level violence.

To prevent a domestic revolution, Jiang claims governments will intentionally deploy citizens to "pointless wars" overseas as a distraction.

According to Jiang, Western leadership faces a binary choice: to either engage in foreign conflict to keep the population pre-occupied, or face a violent internal revolt similar to the French Revolution.
