Hotel Sayeman launches resort

Hotel Sayeman has inaugurated a new project, Sayeman Heritage Residence, in Cox's Bazar with a luxurious 10-storey, 240-unit resort condominium.

The landmark has been frequented by celebrities, head of the states and other dignitaries since 1964, the company said in a media statement.

The inaugural ceremony of the property sales was held on Oct 8 at the Bashundhara City Mall in Dhaka.

Founder Chairman of Hotel Sayeman, Mosharraf Hossain, MP and also Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Civil Aviation and Tourism, hosted the event.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Faruk Khan, and Sarah Begum Kabori, MP, also attended the event.

The exclusive property at Hotel Sayeman Road will be the only heritage styled all-inclusive resort condominium with historical value in Cox’s Bazar, the statement added.

Established in 1964, Hotel Sayeman was the first private hotel in Cox’s Bazar by late Sayedur Rahman. His son Mosharraf Hossain later developed it to a 75-room resort in 1979. Third- generation businessman Mahboob ur Rahman has taken up the development of the 240-unit condominium resort on the 1.27 acre land.

Mosharraf Hossain declared a 10 percent introductory discount on the property for one month starting from Oct 8.

Mumbai-based architect Erana Yakbote has designed the condominium.

Of the 240 condominium units, there will be 78 one -bedroom suites, 116 two-bedroom suites, 40 three-bedroom apartments, four three-bedroom luxurious penthouse duplexes and two presidential suites, the company said.

Owners will be able to choose from a range of panoramic views including sea view from level six upwards, hill views or the courtyard view overlooking the swimming pool.
