Manchester United have reached an agreement worth £73.7 million with Red Bull Leipzig to sign Benjamin Sesko.
The deal includes a guaranteed payment of £66.3 million with the remainder structured as performance-related add-ons.
The 22-year-old Slovenia forward has impressed scoring 39 goals in 87 appearances for the German side Leipzig.
Sesko will now complete the formalities before finalising his move to Old Trafford.
United have already strengthened their side signing forwards Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo this summer for a total fee of about £130 million.
The club is saving significantly on wages, with Marcus Rashford’s full £325,000- a-week salary currently being covered by Barcelona, where the forward is spending the season on loan.
