The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has approved the full 151-member central executive committee of its youth wing Jatiotabadi Jubo Dal.

The committee will continue under the leadership of President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Nurul Islam Nayan.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the approval of the full committee in a media statement on Thursday.

The BNP had previously endorsed a six-member partial committee on Jul 9, 2024, installing Munna as president and Nayan as general secretary.

The announcement comes more than one year and one month after the initial interim committee was formed, finalising the full structure of the youth organisation.

The full organisational lineup includes Rezaul Kabir Paul as the senior vice-president, alongside 28 vice-presidents and several joint general secretaries.

Bilal Hossain Tareque has been named the first joint general secretary of the central committee, which also includes 28 joint general secretaries in total.
