Dhaka celebrates 416th anniversary

The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) organised a procession on Friday, Aug 28, 2026, as part of the “Hridoye Dhaka 416” festival to mark the 416th anniversary of the capital. The procession started from Jagannath University with horse-drawn carriages and musical groups in different costumes and ended at the Nagar Bhaban.
