Advocate Md Azizul Bashar claimed he was ‘embarrassed’ after he clicked on the video featuring Bangladesh actress Nusrat Faria on YouTube.

The item song from Boss-2, a joint Indo-Bangla production, has piled criticism on Nusrat for appearing in revealing costumes.

The title which means ‘By the Grace of Allah’ in English also stirred anger in some following its release in Jaaz Multimedia’s YouTube channel on Friday.

In the notice sent to production studio Jaaz, the lawyer said it should remove the video from YouTube and social media networks within three days to avoid legal action.

The production house has ‘hurt the religious sentiments of everyone’ in the country by releasing the ‘disgraceful’ song just before the holy month of Ramadan, according to the legal notice.

The information secretary, cultural affairs secretary, president and managing director of Bangladesh Film Development Corporation, inspector general of police and chairman of Bangladesh Film Censor Board have been made respondents.

The notice was posted on behalf of Azizul Bashar by Supreme Court lawyer Md Hujjatul Islam Khan, who had represented executed war criminal Salauddin Quader Chowdhury.

Jaaz Multimedia Owner Abdul Ajij declined to comment saying: “We did not receive any notice yet.”

The sequel of 2013 super hit film ‘Boss,’ Boss-2 is scheduled to be released in Bangladesh on the eve of Eid-Ul-Fitr.

Tollywood film star Jeet starred in the movie alongside Nusrat Faria, Subhashree Ganguly, Indraneil Sengupta and Koushik Sen.

Boss-2, directed by Baba Yadav, has been jointly produced by Jaaz Multimedia and Kolkata-based Jeetz Filmworks.
