The Tigers will face off against the co-hosts at Hamilton on Friday.
Captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said they wanted to utilise every opportunity.
“We have another opportunity ahead. No one wants to lose a World Cup match,” he said on Monday.
Bangladesh are unbeaten against New Zealand in past eight matches while the Kiwis have won all five matches in the World Cup.
“Who are the opponents is not an issue. We will be serious about carrying the momentum,” Mashrafe said.
The skipper said it was important to carry the momentum into the quarterfinals they reached by beating England on Monday.
“I think everyone will be serious. I hope all will play well,” he added.
