India cruised to a dominant nine-wicket victory over the United Arab Emirates in their Asia Cup opener, bowling them out for 57 before chasing down the target in just 4.3 overs.

Kuldeep Yadav (4-7) starred with the ball on his return to international action to dismantle the UAE middle order at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

Shivam Dube (3-4) provided impressive support, grabbing a brace in a single over to compound the UAE’s woes.

Alishan Sharafu top-scored for the hosts with 22, including three fours and a six, providing brief resistance.

Captain Muhammad Waseem (19) also contributed to a positive start, but UAE lost their last eight wickets for just 10 runs after a decent powerplay of 41-2.

In reply, Abhishek Sharma (30) and Shubman Gill (20*) formed a key opening partnership of 48 runs leading India's chase as skipper Suryakumar Yadav (7*) sealed the win with a six.

India lost only one wicket when Sharma fell to Junaid Siddique (1-16), caught in the deep.

UAE’s innings collapsed in just 79 balls, the lowest total ever recorded against India in T20s, before the visitors raced to their fastest chase in the format, highlighting their sheer dominance.
