Litton to lead as BCB names squad for three-match T20I series in Sri Lanka

The series will begin on Jul 10, with matches scheduled in Kandy, Dambulla and Colombo

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 16-member squad for the three-match T20 International series against hosts Sri Lanka scheduled from Jul 10 to 16.

Wicketkeeper-batter Litton Kumer Das will lead the team in the series, which will be played across three venues in Kandy, Dambulla, and Colombo.

The squad includes Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Parvez Hossain Emon, Md Naim Sheikh, Tawhid Hridoy, Jaker Ali Anik, Shamim Hossain Patwari, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rishad Hossain, Shak Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Md Saifuddin.

Itinerary:

Jul 10– 1st T20I, Kandy

Jul 13 – 2nd T20I, Dambulla

Jul 16 – 3rd T20I, Colombo

All matches will begin at 7:30pm Bangladesh Standard Time (BST).
