RUCSU polls: Sumaiya, Tanvi claim VP, GS positions in Mannujan Hall council

The results of the Mannujan Hall council election at Rajshahi University have been announced.

Chief Election Commissioner Prof F Nazrul Islam announced the outcome around 10:30pm on Thursday, marking the beginning of results being released for the RUCSU, hall councils, and student representatives to the university senate.

According to the commission, Mannujan Hall had a total of 2,378 registered voters. Of these, 1,598 votes were cast.

As per the announced results, Sumaiya Jahan has been elected vice-president of the hall council, securing 1,055 votes.

Tasmery Jahan Tanvi has been elected general secretary with 912 votes.

Sabina Yasmin won the post of assistant general secretary, collecting 1,005 votes.
