Dhaka, Nov 15 (BDNEWS) - MGH Group, one of the country's leading supply chain specialist conglomerates having worldwide operations, Tuesday engaged Impact PR as its official public relations agency.
M Shamsur Rahman, chief executive officer of Impact PR, and Abdur Rahim, general manager of MGH Group, have signed an agreement to this end at the Impact PR's office at Dilkusha in the capital.
Under the agreement, Impact PR, the country's first PR firm, will provide public relations services and media counsel to corporate entities under the umbrella of MGH Group and address all media inquiries on a 24-hour and seven-day-a-week basis.
MGH Group's managing director Anis Ahmed, commenting on the tie-up, said the company is happy to be associated with the first PR agency in Bangladesh. He was optimistic that the collaboration would help MGH Group disseminate core messages to distinct audience and achieve its corporate and business goals.
Ahmed said the joint efforts would help enhance transparency of the Group and ensure better sharing of corporate information with its clients and consumers alike.
About the new collaboration, Rahman, the Impact PR CEO, said MGH Group is a reputed name in FMCG and media distribution, private ICD, shipping services, freight forwarding, aviation services, global distribution services (GDS), information technology and in commercial banking sector.
"The tie-up would provide fresh impetus in the marketing efforts of MGH Group. Impact PR would play a catalytic role for business expansion of MGH Group," Rahman said.
"Riding on its team's extensive knowledge and experience in journalism and public relations, Impact PR offers solutions to companies of all sizes, budgets and growth targets," he said.
Rahman said Impact provides strategic idea-driven counsel and advice for implementing a fully-fledged, measurable PR programme.
"Impact draws from repository of international best practices and the experience of its qualified personnel to offer clients a wide range of public relations services which help them attain their corporate goals," the CEO observed.
MGH Group's head of Marketing and Planning Zeeshan Kingshuk Huq, Impact PR account director Biswadip Das and its account manager Syeda Samira Sharmin were present at the signing ceremony.
