AREAL unveils Forthing Friday electric SUV in Bangladesh

Akij Renewable Energy & Automobiles Ltd (AREAL), the renewable energy and green mobility concern of Akij Venture Group, has unveiled the Forthing Friday, a modern electric sports SUV, in Bangladesh.

The vehicle was launched at a ceremony at Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel, Dhaka, marking AREAL’s appointment as the exclusive distributor of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co Ltd in Bangladesh.

The company says the launch brought together a visiting delegation from Forthing, AREAL’s senior management, car dealers, banking partners, corporate fleet customers, and media representatives.

At the event, guests were introduced to the Forthing brand before the unveiling of the Forthing Friday.

AREAL also presented details of the vehicle and its plans for nationwide servicing and charging infrastructure.

The launch marks a new step in Bangladesh’s growing electric mobility market, AREAL said.

It aims to provide an integrated electric transport ecosystem in Bangladesh, covering passenger and commercial electric vehicles, freezer vans, electric buses, charging infrastructure, financing, and after-sales services.
