Dhaka Bank Managing Director Emranul Huq dies

Dhaka Bank Managing Director and CEO Emranul Huq has died.

He passed away at Kolkata’s Apollo Hospital on Wednesday night.

Dhaka Bank confirmed the matter of his death.

He had been suffering from cancer for several years.

Emranul, who completed a graduate degree in management and a postgraduate degree in business administration, began his career as a management trainee at the Bank of Credit and Commerce International in 1986.

In 1998, he joined Dhaka Bank. He served in various important posts as deputy manager and manager in various departments of the bank’s corporate wing.

In February 2020, he was appointed as its managing director and CEO.
