Shimanto Bank has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ABC Real Estate to offer exclusive home loan benefits to the real estate company’s customers.

Customers purchasing properties through ABC Real Estate will receive preferential interest rates and reduced loan processing fees when availing Shimanto Bank’s home loan product, “Shimanto Nibash”, the bank said in a media statement on Thursday.

The MoU was signed by Md Sahidul Islam, head of business at Shimanto Bank, and Shougata Ghosh, director of ABC Real Estate, at ABC Real Estate’s head office on behalf of their organisations.

The signing ceremony was also attended by Mohammad Masud Sajjad, in-charge of Retail Asset and Liabilities at Shimanto Bank; Mohammad Zakir Hossain, general manager (Sales) of ABC Real Estate; along with senior officials from both institutions.

The partnership is expected to strengthen real estate financing options and promote the growth of the housing sector in Bangladesh, the statement added.
