Shimanto Bank celebrates 9th anniversary at Dhanmondi office

Over the past nine years, the bank has expanded its services with 27 branches, eight sub-branches, three service centres and 36 ATM booths

Shimanto Bank has marked its ninth anniversary with a celebration at its head office in Dhanmondi’s Shimanto Square.

On Sept 1, the bank celebrated its anniversary simultaneously at all branches and sub-branches.

Mohammad Azizul Hoque, the managing director and chief executive officer (current charge), attended the programme as the chief guest.

Md Sahidul Islam, head of business, along with members of the senior management team and employees of the head office, were also present.

Over the past nine years, Shimanto Bank has expanded its services with 27 branches, eight sub-branches, three service centres and 36 ATM booths across Bangladesh.

It has also conducted real-time online banking operations through a fully domestic core banking system since the beginning of its commercial activities.

Since its first year of operation, the bank has reported profits and has regularly distributed dividends to shareholders.
