An inter-district train collided with a trailer truck stuck at a level crossing in Chittagong's Sitakunda early on Tuesday, killing at least one person.

Sitakunda Model police station ASP Saiful Islam said the incident took place around 5:30am at Barahbkunda in Sitakunda upazilla.
He said five compartments went off the tracks from the impact.
Chittagong railway station master Abul Kalam Azad said rail links between the port city and the rest of the country has been snapped after the accident.
Other trains on the route were stuck due to the accident.
Subarna Express, due to start at 6:40am, and Mohanagar Pravati, scheduled for 7:15am, have not done so.
A rescue train has already reached the spot of the accident, station master Azad said.
ASP Islam said they have sent two injured to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
The sacks of milk in the trailer truck are being removed and debris on the tracks is being cleared.
