Dhaka, Aug 26 (bdnews24.com)— The government has appointed Md Shahdat Hossain as the new Ambassador of Bangladesh to Italy.
A career diplomat, Hossain of 1984 batch BCS (Foreign Affairs) Cadre, is currently serving as Bangladesh ambassador in Qatar, the government's Press Information Department said in a media release.
Earlier, he served as ambassador to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh High Commissioner in New Delhi and Pakistan, apart from working in various capacities in different foreign missions.
