MRPs for Bangladeshi expats in Kuwait

Dhaka, July 11 (bdnews24.com) – Bangladesh embassy in Kuwait has started issuing machine readable passports (MRP) for Bangladeshis in the country.
Bangladesh ambassador to Kuwait Syed Shahed Reza inaugurated the service at Kuwait chancery house Sunday, said a foreign ministry press release.
Hand written passports will be replaced with MRPs, and the existing set up in the embassy can provide 150 to 200 MRPs everyday.
