On Tuesday, the High Court froze the move and issued a rule asking why the decision will not be declared illegal.
The health secretary, chief of the Directorate General of Health Services or DGHS, Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council chairman and the Dhaka University VC has been ordered to respond in four weeks.
The DGHS' Aug 21 admission notice said that it would deduct five points from those who will retake the tests and publish the result based on that score.
On Aug 27, Supreme Court lawyer Younus Ali Akhand filed a petition saying that it would 'violate an individual's basic rights'.
