The Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company has announced that the gas supply to Dhaka’s Ashkona and its surrounding areas will be suspended for 10 hours on Thursday for the replacement of old pipes.

The decision was announced in a press release by Titas on Wednesday.

The statement said that gas supply to all categories of customers in the Uttarkhan, Dakshinkhan, Fayedabad areas and Ashkona and its surrounding areas up to the banks of the Shitalakshya River will be suspended from 7am to 5pm to resolve the low gas pressure issue in the Ashkona-Gawair area.

Adjacent areas may also experience low gas pressure during the period.

Titas Gas expressed its regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to customers.
