Chittagong’s rail links with Dhaka, Sylhet resume

Chittagong’s train communication with Dhaka and Sylhet resumed after being disrupted for more than one hour on Wednesday after a train derailed in Brahmanbarhia.

Three carriages of a goods train went off the track around 11am near the Akhaura Railway Junction, said Railway police OC Abdus Sattar.

 

The tracks were cleared around 12.15pm, after which rail links to the port city were restored.
