He expresses optimism about a brighter future for Pakistan-Bangladesh ties

Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have exchanged Eid-ul Fitr greetings during a phone conversation.
Shehbaz took to the social media platform X on Monday to share details of the phone call.
“Exchanged Eid-ul-Fitr greetings and reaffirmed our shared commitment to further strengthen Pakistan-Bangladesh ties,” he wrote.
He also highlighted the forthcoming visit of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to Dhaka.
“Looking forward to DPM/FM’s visit to Dhaka on the 22nd of April accompanied by a trade delegation,” the post read.
Shehbaz once again invited Yunus to visit Pakistan during their conversation.
He also said that Pakistan has invited a Bangladeshi cultural delegation, including legendary singer Runa Laila, for a visit.
“The future looks bright for Pakistan-Bangladesh ties, Inshallah,” he concluded.
