On Mar 29, Raudha Athif, who was also a model, was found hanging in her room at the hostel of the Rajshahi Islami Bank Medical College. She was a second-year student studying for her MBBS degree.
College authorities filed an unnatural death case over the incident that same day.
On Mar 30, an autopsy conducted at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital ruled her death a suicide. Raudha was buried in Rajshahi.
On Apr 13, the police headquarters tasked the Criminal Investigation Department to probe the death.
The CID then moved the court seeking a second autopsy, which was granted.
Rajshahi CID's Inspector Asmaul Haque said the body has been exhumed around 10am on Monday.
Haque, who is in charge of the investigation, said Executive Magistrate Raktim Chowdhury has supervised it. "Raudha's father Mohammad Athif was also there. The body has been taken to the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital's morgue."
