Dhaka, Sept 3 (BDNEWS) – Liberation War Affairs secretary Abu Solaiman Chowdhury has been appointed cabinet secretary, the highest post for a civil servant, Sunday.
Chowdhury has replaced ASM Abdul Halim who was the cabinet secretary appointed on a contract that expired on August 31.
Chowdhury served different government offices including those of the President's Office, Local Government Department, Rural Development and Cooperatives Department, Cultural Affairs Ministry and Youth and Sport Ministry.
