The court sends the duo and sacked army officer Ziaul for more police questioning

Former private investment and industry advisor Salman F Rahman, former law minister Anisul Huq and sacked army official Ziaul Ahsan have been remanded for 10 more days for interrogation.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Jashim Uddin placed them on remand in two separate cases on Saturday.
An investigating officer sought a 10-day remand for all three, showing them ‘arrested’ in a case filed at the Lalbagh Police Station over the killing of a student of Ideal College during the violence surrounding the quota reform protests.
After hearing arguments, the court remanded them in police custody for five days.
The court also granted another 5-day remand in a case filed at the Newmarket Police Station over the killing of Shobuj Ali, a student of Dhaka College during the anti-government protests.
Inspector Md Asaduzzaman of police's prosecution wing confirmed the news of their 10-day remand.
Earlier, the Beximco Group Vice-Chairman Salman, Anisul and Ziaul were placed on 8-day remand for interrogation in connection with the murder case of hawker Shahjahan filed at New Market Police Station.
They were brought to the court premises on Saturday in bulletproof vests and helmets amid tight police security.
