Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of Inqilab Moncho leader Sharif Osman bin Hadi.
Osman Hadi died while undergoing treatment in Singapore at 9:45pm on Thursday.
In a condolence message sent late at night, the chief justice said, "The country has lost a courageous voice through the untimely and tragic death of Sharif Osman Hadi."
On behalf of the judiciary, he prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
