Public Service Commission (PSC) Chairman Mobasser Monem has pledged to prevent any form of discrimination or injustice within the commission.

On Tuesday, he vowed to uphold fairness while serving as the PSC’s chairman, according to a statement issued by the commission.

Mobasser also paid tribute to the youth of 2024 who, he said, sacrificed their lives to dismantle a discriminatory system.

“We must not let their sacrifice go in vain,” he said in a discussion, marking the anniversary of the July Uprising.

He urged all to work collectively in honour of the July martyrs.

The programme began with a minute of silence in memory of those killed in the July Uprising.

A music video and a documentary featuring those who died or were injured in the movement were also screened.
