Supreme Court Secretariat to be inaugurated Thursday

Chief justice will head the opening ceremony at new administrative building

Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed is set to inaugurate the Supreme Court Secretariat on Thursday.

According to a Supreme Court press note released on Wednesday, the ceremony will take place at 2.30pm at Administrative Building 4, located next to the Supreme Court Jame Mosque.

The Supreme Court Secretariat Ordinance 2025, issued on Nov 30 by the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, clears the path for forming an independent secretariat for the apex court.
