Bogra, Dec 5 (bdnews24.com) - The Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur has become country's seventh international cricket venue earning recognition Tuesday from International Cricket Council (ICC).

Anam said that Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium will host both version of the game - one-dayer and Test.
The approval meant the fourth and fifth match of the ongoing ODI series against Zimbabwe will take place at the new venue. The matches are billed for Friday and Saturday.

With the approval, Bangladesh now has seven international cricket venues -- Bangabandhu National Stadium and Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, MA Aziz Stadium and Bir Shrestha Shahid Ruhul Amin Stadium in Chittagong, Shahid Chandu Stadium in Bogra, Narayanganj Osmani Stadium at Fatullah and Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Khulna.
