They are scheduled to fly to India on Sunday while the tournament is set to start in Kerala on Dec 23.
Bangladesh axed their Italian coach Fabio Lopez and appointed Maruful in his place on Nov 24.
"The target that I had set after taking responsibility 20 days ago is still there – (we) will win the SAFF title," he told journalists on Saturday.
"The boys trained in 38 session over the last 18 days. They are working very hard, doing everything necessary to do well in the (tournament). I believe, it is possible to achieve the target."
Bangladesh have been pitted with holders Afghanistan, Maldives and Bhutan in Group B.
They will kick off their campaign against the reigning champions on Dec 24 before taking on Maldives and Bhutan on Dec 26 and 28, respectively.

Maruful, who won a treble with Sheikh Russel KC in the 2012-13 season, said, "(Afghanistan) are undoubtedly a good team. They are the champions. We have been analysing their strength and weakness. We want to win the first match."
But he is not taking the other teams lightly.
"I've seen Maldives play. They have a number of experienced players in the team at the moment. But we can beat them with our best…Bhutan have a good coach."
Bangladesh captain Mamunul Islam, too, is poised to do well in the competition.
"Winning the championship is our target. We want to lift the team in a place where the next generation can look back with pride. We want to make this edition of SAFF memorable," the midfielder said.
Bangladesh will be without their influential striker Jahid Hasan Ameli, who was ruled out at the last moment after sustaining an injury.
Ameli's unavailability leaves Maruful with just two striking options - Shakhawat Hossain Rony and Nabib Newaj Jibon.
Bangladesh beat Nepal 1-0 in a friendly at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday.
