Dhaka, Jan 31 (BDNEWS) – Bangladesh Ansar emerged champions in both men's and women's events of the 29th National Gymnastic Championship, which concluded Tuesday at National Sports Council gymnasium.
Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) were runners up.
Sharmin Sultana Sumi of Ansar and Abdullah Al Mamun of BKSP became champion in women and men event respectively.
Water Resources Minister Major (retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed distributed medals among the winners as chief guest.
Bangladesh Gymnastic Federation president Dr. Shah Md. Farid and its general secretary Ahmedur Rahim were present.
A total of 36 men and 18 women from 12 district sports associations and organisations took part in the ten events – six for men and four for women.
