Dhaka, Feb 24 (bdnews24.com) – The government appointed air commodore Sakeb Iqbal Khan Majlis as chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh on deputation Tuesday.
His predecessor air commodore Mahmud Hussain was transferred to the Armed Forces Division.
Mamtaj Begum was appointed to Jatiya Mahila Sangstha as chairperson for two years, according to separate orders from establishment ministry.
The government cancelled the contractual appointment of Monowar Hakim Ali, whom the emergency-government had hired for two years on Dec. 28, 2008, as the Sangstha's chairman.
Besides, Mohammad Mahbubul Alam Majumdar and Ashraful Ashraf, assistant secretaries at the establishment ministry, were posted to the Bangladesh Public Administration Centre at Savar as assistant directors on deputation.
